We understand that getting out and about is not as easy for some people as it is for others, so to try and make things a little less complicated, Sophie has been out and about looking for disabled friendly places and assessing their facilities, so that you can navigate your way around the resorts easier.

LIST OF ACCESSIBLE PLACES
Our aim is to compile a comprehensive list of places, bars, pubs, restaurants and attractions around the resorts, so that you can understand in advance, just how easy access to each place is and also what fun and facilities they offer.

If you are looking to hire mobility aids, wheel chairs, scooters etc, please click on the links below:
The Puckled Palm has no disabled access so you can’t get in and out with your wheelchair but you can sit outside on the terrace.
They do have fully fitted disabled toilet facilities, which is why they have been included on our list and a flat terrace. Access to the square where they are situated also has a ramp facility on both sides. Entrance into the restaurant does have a small step ( smaller than a curb ) which you will need to negotiate, but it only around 10cm high, so if someone is capable of getting about around town and can handle going up and down small curbs, then access via a wheelchair is very easy. On many occasions, wheelchair users have dined there are the owner are more than happy to rearrange tables / chairs ect to accommodate wheelchair users.
Can you do an accessable beaches feature too?
Caleta beach has six steps onto disabled wooden sand walkway and wheelchair sunbathing platform.
There are disabled toilets but no ramp to get to them from prom.
